Description
Lake Fryxell is located between the Canada and Commonwealth Glaciers at the lower end of Taylor Valley. The B-023 Lake Fryxell site is approximately 550m southwest from the F6 camp. It is accessible by foot from F6.
Objective
The site was scanned during snow-on and snow-off conditions to determine the volume of snow present at the site, which will be used to determine the amount of moisture released into the soil. Desired resolution for the site is 2cm.
