Canada Glacier Cliff (PS01): B-425 - Dry Valleys Ice and Rock Glaciers (B-425, B-504)
Project: Dry Valleys Ice and Rock Glaciers (B-425, B-504) (B-425)
Description
The Canada Glacier Cliff site is located at Lake Hoare Camp in Taylor Valley. The site is the frontal face of the Glacier that extends roughly from the lake shore to roughly 30m upstream from the Anderson Creek stream gauge.
The site uses the LHOE base station as a reference point. There are several 5cm white reflectors peppered throughout the landscape (on the stream gauge box, on the stream gauge itself and on the instrument lab), but no permanent markers exist at the site. The glacier apron or skirt is to be included in the scan.
