Description
Thrihnukagigur Volcano is located approximately 9 miles southeast of Iceland's capital city, Reykjavik, as the crow flies. The volcano conduit opening is accessed via a 2 mile hike from the parking located on the paved Route 417. Arrangements may also be made to access the site by helicopter.
