U-053 - Sediment Dynamics Following Wildfire in Chaparral Environments
PI: Dr. Joan Florsheim
Project Lead: Joan Florsheim
Funding Source: NSF-EAR 1359734
Location: Big Sycamore Canyon
Dates: 2014-05-09 to 2014-10-04
Project Summary
Goals are to quickly collect baseline Terrestrial LiDAR data to document channel characteristics in two channel reaches in Big Sycamore Canyon, CA that burned during a wildfire this summer. The first field campaign would need to take pace as soon as possible before the rainy season starts (Oct 1) and the second would take place after the rainy season (~May). From PSR.
