Site Notes: Steep hillslopes (>32 degrees) made for somewhat cumbersome transitions between scan positions. Windy/dusty conditions were common during visits, especially in October 2018. Incipient vegetation regrowth occluded non-trivial ground for DoD3, resulting in a much sparser map of change (full sediment budget not undertaken for DoD3). Full survey epochs took two field days to complete given the time required for each scan and time needed for moving equipment safely across steep slopes. At each scan position, survey tripod was leveled over established rebar and scans with horizontal/vertical resolution of 0.25-0.35mrad (~20-30 minutes if scan acquired from full 360 degrees) in long-range mode. Fine-scanned cylinders and double-checked fine scan quality.
